Kelly Jacobs

Kelly runs Summer Beam Property Inspections, which provides home inspections for buyers, sellers, and homeowners across the area. She looks over a property closely and then writes a detailed report on what she finds.

That report is the point. It gives her clients a clear picture of the home so they can make informed decisions, whether they are about to buy, getting ready to sell, or simply want to know the condition of the place they already own.

Kelly is the owner and CEO of her company, and she also serves on our chapter's leadership team. Her approach to her work is simple: support clients in their real estate decisions with inspections that are thorough and accurate. That same attention to detail is what we see from her in the chapter.

Kelly works with three kinds of people, so listen for all three. If you hear someone say they just had an offer accepted on a house, that is a buyer who needs an inspection. If someone mentions they are about to list their home, an inspection before selling can help them know what a buyer will find.

And if a homeowner says they are not sure about the condition of their house, Kelly can give them a clear, detailed answer.

Kelly studied at Ohio University and went to Anthony Wayne. She has two children, and she loves dogs, so if you want to start a conversation with her at the next meeting, either topic is a good place to begin. We are glad to know her both as a business owner and as a person.
